How we verify

Every page is a projection of a typed record. If a fact is not in the dataset, the section does not render.

Source order

  1. Statute, code, or official gazette
  2. Government or regulator publication
  3. Paper of record or wire
  4. Encyclopedia summary, used only as a pointer and dated

Labels

Legal means adult use is permitted under recorded conditions. Decriminalized means personal amounts are typically non-criminal. Medical only means recreational use is not recorded as legal. Restricted means a narrow channel exists. Illegal means the recorded default is prohibition.

Cities

Tourist cities inherit the parent country or state record unless a city-specific row exists. Inherited pages are marked derived.
